Mark's Triton Drop in the Ocean

Love these brackets, worth the import charge. I don't know why all bracket mounts don't have tidy cable management options

Really clean. Love the one piece rim on the tank. What fish you thinking about?

Nice looking tank! Love it.
Talk about maximizing your sump. Wow. haha

Oooh I'm excited about this one!

Thanks guys!
This is going to be a slowly slowly build...as much as I can resist. Been burnt too many times before.

I'm going to run Triton method once everything is fully cycled and ready to go. Although, I need to figure out where to put the doser & containers. A few shelves needed I think.

Coral wise, I'm hoping for mainly SPS, but will see how it goes.

Fish wise, I've got a couple of clowns, high fin goby (& pistol shrimp), orange spotted goby and an African flame all Angel to go in.
Going to get a tang and wrasse of some sort. Will see when it comes to it.

Added some mesh over the 1st baffle to stop any algae getting over. The refugium should now be about 30% of the overall volume. Twice the required 15% for Triton [emoji16]

Updated scape. The drop didn't look natural at all, so added a couple of pieces to act as bleachers

Just waiting for my plumbing to arrive then it's time to get the sump filled [emoji16][emoji16]

That looks great bro!

At last, got the plumbing sorted.
Gone with a herbie overflow set up. Just need to pick up a 1" strainer for the main over flow.
Everything is hard plumbed, no flexi used anywhere.

Just need to get some more RO tomorrow so I can mix enough salt to fill the sump.

A bit of an oversight though, I didn't realise the Aqua Medic Eco Runner 6000 return pump didn't have an adjustable flow.
Hope this works ok or I'll have to get another [emoji24]

Once the water is flowing ok it's time to put together a mounting board for the apex and controllers.
Never done this much DIY in my life!

Also spoken to a sparky about putting a couple of 2-gang sockets near the tank. These will be added to the garage circuit, which is the other side of the wall.
