Maroon Lagoon V3.0

Yeah, I was trimming back some branches that were getting too close to my sapphire mille when I noticed it was gravid. Gonna keep a close eye on it and see if I can catch it during the release.
Good luck hoping you can get a video!

I was performing a water change today and was trying to suck some detritus behind one of my anemone baskets when I carelessly let my forearm touch one of my gigs. These things do not mess around! I’ve never had a reaction like this from an anemone, and I’ve been keeping anemones for 14 years.

Oh **** that's a gnarly rash!

dang...prayers for a speedy recovery! I wonder what causes our body to change reactions to things...up until a few years ago, poison ivy never bothered me, now I get terrible reactions if I even look at it! LOL.

Yeah, my buddy who works in the ER told me my body could be developing an inappropriate immune reaction to the nematocysts. It could lead to anaphylactic in the future if it continues to get worse. Time to be a little more careful during water changes!

Took a handful of shots with the iPhone today. Happy New Years everyone!

Sumps don’t get enough love or respect. I feel like a thriving sump full of fan worms and sponges is so beneficial for the health of a system. Sponges are also a great indicator of system health.

That is absolutely gorgeous sponge growth!

Awesome build!
Might not hurt to keep an epi pen or two around. I’m not allergic to anything that I know of, but with some of the hobbies I have, I usually have one available to me.

Yeah, I need to look into that to be on the safe side

Any other secret mags hiding in your sump/frag tank? Looking great man.

I hate nem stings. They last for so long too.

Awesome! Wish I was able to find some local...do you have a place that gets them regularly?
