Wow, well that was an aweful read, first time I heard about this. I wonder why they didn't show the vid. And the thing everyone seems to be forgetting is that hawiian reefs will also be affected even more when it hits the ocean, that is going to kill the tourism down there

I went down there this morning to see if i could get any pictures. Nothing much to see. Clean up crews must have been at it all morning. The only thing left is a few fish and a very bad smell.

As of right now there are no plans to clean up. They are only cleaning up the dead sealife.

Bad deal...crazy to think that molasses is that toxic! Also crazy that they reported the dead fish being 3 miles from the spill....that's pretty widespread!

well, according to the video, its not toxic, it just take out the oxygen in the water and the fishes die from suffocation. If there are means to use some large under water vacuum or they can pump oxygen into the water like we use air pumps in our tanks we can save some fish

This happened in Maui a while back. I believe it wasn't even close to the amount here on Oahu.

but nothing
on the sea floor is living where the spill accured it willll takeeee yeeeeeeeeeeearrrs to fix that and by then stuff might change.
