Maxspect xf250 with magnet upgrade kit (I'm so lost)

Ok I'm so lost right now.

1. My glass is almost not quite 1inch think
2. The magnet as good for 1 1/4 inch glass

3. I'm not sure if I'm installing them correctly. See pic
I have left on old magnet and placed the new bar to it then the new on to outside of glass.
4. The issue is that it's not a right hard fit. It's seems to loose to me like if something bumps it it Will come apart
Or
5. I'm over thinking it as I was expecting these things not to move

Aha i see your issue, the old magnet, that is now inside your tank, doesnt get used anymore. It is replaced by the new one.

I wad thinking that as well
No instructions can figure how to remove the old magnet.

It just pulls off from the actual gyre bracket mounts. Id try and slide it down off the mounts vs pulling directly off.

This should be simple you think if they provided instructions.

So grab each of those two pieces and pull away from each other. The right arrow piece you don't need

So just keep it like the first time I had.

Well I tested my version and that was worce you touch it it well off glass.

Scratch that. I could download and watch it. Yeah that seems really really loose. That's how it attaches though.

I'll see if mine does that when I get home. Otherwise maybe see how it works when the tank is full and we can also tag one of the guys from coralvue

Here is a pic of the glass size.

Let me know how yours is as well my tank won't be filled for a bit hoping starting the fill the 250g this weekend.

I email the company we could tag them I this if that helps not sure

Mind the dirtyness of it, but the brackets sit against the inside of your tank and the bar goes on the outside

But cant figure why did they sent me both sides on the reinforced magnet.

As I don't see you extra bar.
