Yeah, im not too sure why, maybe both go on the outside of the tank? Double them up? Neither bar should go inside the tank, thats why its pulling away so easily.

Well then I have a major issue as the bar goes in an overflow box. Might have to talk to company

So I think I figured it out with the help from the wife and from that 2014 form you found great find. Tried to look on Google for install vid but nothing

As you can see on the inside of the tank use new one

On outside use new on on glass then old one behind it and it much stronger.

Now to find if this is correct from company

Right, it was just showing that's installed the same way yours is, so you should be all set to go. The next step is see if it holds with water and the tank and them turned on, im pretty sure it should though.
 
Following. I bought mine from BRS at Black Friday sale and went to turn it on and the white ceramic shaft on the inside was broken! I didn’t feel like the magnet was super strong either. Is that why you got the reinformcent kit? I have to send mine back now and hopefully get a replacement ASAP. I just opened it out if the box

How thick is your glass

Mine where I'm placing it is this thick.

As if I use the the normal mags it falls off

How thick is your glass as well? I have 2 XF250's on my 3/4" glass and they are plenty strong. I have to slide the outside magnet away from the internal one. I can't just grab it and pull it away from the glass. If they are mounted correctly it will work.

With the normal mag it had no strength.
See my pic above shows glass thickness

With the extra mag we figure it out

Still have to use old mags with new ones

Why don't just out instructions in the box
