The prize, True Temp Titanium Heater.

prod-true-temp-titanium2.jpg

JBJ introduces the TRUE TEMP digital heater controller and titanium heating system. The TRUE TEMP is the most complete heating system to date with the most advanced features that set it apart as the leading heater for professional hobbyists.

Our digital microprocessor boasts amazing +/- 0.5 F accuracy, a calibration setting, indestructible titanium heating element with thermal shut off, smart memory chip, LED heating indicator, suction cup heater/probe holders, safety guard, remote temperature probe, and a large constant LED display of the current temperature.

Maintaining the correct temperature for tropical fish may be the single most important factor for a successful aquarium. Since fish do not have the ability to regulate their own body temperature, it is crucial that we can provide consistent water temperatures with minimal fluctuations.

Majority of fish cannot cope with stress from constant temperature fluctuations, which leads to a compromised immune system. This increases the probability of avoidable diseases, parasites, and bacterial infections.

100% DIGITAL OPERATION

Don’t be fooled, some controllers still incorporate analog dials and knobs without the precision accuracy of TRUE digital controllers. Our advanced microprocessor constantly reads and displays the correct temperature to a tenth of a degree with a large LED display. Easy push buttons make setting your desired temperature simple and easy.

TITANIUM

The perfect submersible element for fresh or saltwater aquaria. Virtually indestructible with the benefits of fast heat transfer without any corrosion. Integrated thermal shut off and out of water safety mechanism.

REMOTE TEMPERATURE PROBE

Most heaters have an integrated temperature probe within the same heating element. This can lead to false readings and premature ON/OFF cycles.
The TRUE TEMP digital controller is equipped with a remote quick disconnect temperature probe that can be placed up to 5 feet away from the heating element for a comprehensive temperature measurement of the total volume of water. Quick disconnect temperature probe grants easy replacement without the need to replace the entire controller in the event it fails.

SAFETY GUARD

All titanium heating elements are securely placed inside our safety guards that protect you and your livestock from the heating core. Our flow thru design grants continuous water contact without interruption.

CROSS REFERENCE

Have you ever noticed that majority of heaters cannot be calibrated. Often times, errors do occur during the calibration process. The ability to cross reference ensures your temperature is accurate and always correct.

SMART MEMORY CHIP

An integrated smart memory chip will restore the previous temperature set point and calibration to the last stored setting once the power returns after a failure. This alleviates having to manually reset settings

BOOM! Awesome heater!

Hahaha yep! The weather outside is heating up now with it being May so it was time to bring the heat!

Well my first time posting this it disappeared so here is my tank thread
https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/member-tanks/108457-my-120-light-emitting-diodes-lit-reef.html

I
think this is a great forum for all reefers because it has the ability to connect all levels of reefers and not only with ones far away, but ones in their own communities. The members not only are helpful here, but they don't harass people for doing things differently from themselves like I have seen other places.

I hope to win this. This is one of the few costs I was going to have setting up a nano with my fiance to show her how to take care of a tank. I'm getting her more involved in my hobby so I can spend more money on it. lol.

3. The reason why people should join reef2reef is because this site as an amazing group of people who genuinely want to help others. There is almost always someone on and will try and help. Also R2R has awesome contests and giveaways! And everyone is friendly. You can ask any question from how to dose to which fish should you get, and someone will answer. I love this forum and have no reason to be on any other forum.

The most emphatic reasons I can give for new members joining the R2R community revolve around knowledge, passion, and the community itself. Since joining late last year, this group has continually demonstrated a willingness to share their knowledge, experience, and insight about a hobby they are collectively very passionate about - they have been an exceptional resource for this novice reefer and continue to be one of my favorite forums to hang out on... great people!
