May meeting

The may meeting is set to be at my house. You guys/gals tell me what weekend is better for you. The weekend of the 24 is memorial day weekend so I wasn't going to try that weekend. So would the weekend of the 31st work or would the 7th of june work better? It doesn't really matter to me. Just what ever weekend works better for all of you. I wanted to have the meeting on saturday so Dave could make it.

Let me know and we will start planning.

31st is potentially going to be wild for me (swapping my niece out with my brother including a 6 hour drive- might happen on Friday) so she can attend a camp with my daughter.

June 7th is my birthday (I'll be 39!), so I could bring a cake!!!

I think we will move the meeting to the 7th. It seems that weekend will work best for those who posted and it will probably work better for me. So the may/june meeting will be june 7th at 12:00 my house in Cleveland. Addy and details to follow. I will probably cook BBQ so sides that go along with that will be fine. I will try to work on a giveaway for the meeting. we got a couple weeks so we will work it out.

ok, I'm sorry. I killed the thread. Really, NOBODY needs to bring me a frag. I was really just kidding (though Bryan- I would PAY for a piece of your pink tipped beauty in your tank- don't forget....).

We'll need directions (and not Tommy directions) and what to bring, but I guess that we have time. Are we getting fliers for the club that we could put up in Donny's Jon's and Kierl's shops? New members would be welcome!! I mention the club to everybody I see in the SW LFSs. I guess most of them are shy (unlike me).

Hey Susan you didn't kill the thread - and don't you worry I do have a birthday coral for you!

I hate to disappoint you brandon but I think the nicest thing will be the canopy I helped (a little) Bryan build. I just hate that I have to follow your house for my meeting. Maybe we should have a meeting a petco then have one at my house. Then my tanks would look AWESOME!!! LOL!

It really needs to be Petco and THEN my tank.... My tank has lots of little pieces of this and that and a big blue carpet. The rose nem is nice too. It's on the move, looks like it's going for more light. I'll just have to watch it and move things out of it's way. The big blue isn't moving yet. It's on a rock on the sand bed that gets a fair amount of light. The onyx clowns haven't found it yet..... The gold stripe maroons are loving the rose.....

Its looking like I might not make the meeting the Dr. finally scheduled my wifes surgery and it will be friday the 6th so there is a good chance i might not get to come but i will if i can.

Glad the maroons like their new home - did you get the ones bermuda had?

Give the onyx time maybe they will find their home. how far apart are the 2 anemones?

No, I didn't get the ones at bermuda since they are a breeding pair and I hated to buy them just to feed the tank if someone would actually buy them to produce more. I decided that would be too much work maintaining 2 tanks.... I'd have to keep the 100 gal (already paid for) and that would be too much work.....

The nems are about maybe 14-16 inches apart, but ones in the front of the tank and ones in the back. The would have to go through all the rock to get to each other. I know they could do it, but I'd hope not. The rose is moving, but not toward the blue.

Alright so the meeting is a week away. Lets get talking about FOOD!! and also who is coming.

I will cook BBQ, and have buns. So We need to get the fixn's covered. Please post here what you will bring.

I also need to get a head count so I know how much BBQ to cook. So please post if you are coming and how many will be with you. I need to know by tuesday night. Tommy I will have enough extra for you to come if you get the chance!!

As always non-club members are more than welcome to come. Don't worry there is no pressure to join or anything. We just get together, eat, talk and have fun.
