1) The modular and customizable design as well as the ability to program sunrise/set and weather are the most important features for me.

2) The ability to program thunderstorm simulation, ie. lightning.

3)Best mounting option for me is suspension.

Mazarra L.E.D. giveaway

Customization options: You can easily fine tune the color spectrum to fit the habitat (and even microhabitats). Further, the flexibility of the unit allows you to arrange the system how it best serves your aquarium. Lastly, the programability lets you choose a photoperiod that mimics natural reefs (including weather and dawn/dusk), or one that fits your own personal schedule.
