I’ve tried the Salifert never a fan. Way to much reading for me. Lol. Plus the refill agents for RedSea is very reasonably priced.

Well Red Sea is on the way. Only salifert I have right now is reef specific which I’m not ready for. So always time to replace those. What do you mean by never too soon for stability ?

You can add stability while the tank is cycling to help the cycling process.

I ran UV and it cleared up recurring ich and I always felt that the water was clearer.

I was running a Aqua UV 25W on a 57. It's rated to 150G tank but I also chose to run a very slow throughput to increase exposure time. I also figured I'd eventually get a 100G tank and didn't want to buy another one. I'd think 10-15W would be ok for you but it depends. You'll need to look at what your goal is; in my case I wanted to zap protozoa which requires longer/more intense exposure time. Check out aquauvstore.com. Bear in mind you have to replace bulbs and possibly the quartz sleeve annually.

My main issue currently is it’s an AIO. Limited space remaining in back. And if I run external I’m needing a full pump. At that stage why not make a full sump and refugium-> go bigger. Etc etc. thanks for the reply!
