So I know I haven't updated in a while. Things were going good for the first couple of weeks with the new tank. Then 2 days ago I started noticing some of my fish acting strange. And then yesterday the ich outbreak began. I introduced a new Orange Shoulder tang (without quarantine obviously) and now I'm facing losing all of my fish. Only my Lawnmower Blenny and Banggai Cardinal seem unaffected. All my fish are all literally covered in white spots EVERYWHERE. I set up my old 55 for a hospital/quarantine, but now I'm going to have to tear down my whole tank to catch most of my fish. I just want to say to whoever reads this, don't make my mistake. I was arrogant and thought that "Ich won't happen to me. I keep my fish happy, tank stocked well, and parameters perfect. How could I possibly have an outbreak." Well I was dead wrong and the worst part is having to look at my fish suffering and knowing that its all my fault. Hopefully I'll have the hospital tank set up by Friday which isn't soon enough. I just hope that someone reading this will take the time to listen to everyone else and quarantine EVERYTHING that you put in your DT. I don't know whats going to happen. Most of my fish look really really bad and on death's door. I refuse to give up though and hope that someone else can learn from this as I did.
