Metal remover???

Oh, did I mention my ordeal with one of my wet-sides from one of my MP40's.
Yes it cracked and it wasn't that old.
I had 5 mp40's on my DT and for each I had a extra wet-side, in order if I needed to clean which I did every month I just took the dirty one of (that is dirty or not) as swapped it out with a clean.
Well that one time I noticed this red rust.
Oh boy......... was I worried......... not a chance.
Patrick (we all know Patrick right) from Ecotech told me before in one of our conversations that their magnets are made from Neodymium and no risk at all.
Most strong magnets are made from Neodymium these days so I wont worry anymore.
Just to be sure, although my corals told me different I ran a three day Detox.
We all be better save that sorry, right?

Polyfilters by Boyd remove metals, and are very different than filter floss.

Other metal removing methods include Cuprisorb by Seachem and Detox by Triton.

Skimming and GAC will also help.

The Two Little Fishies product above also sounds promising.
@Randy Holmes-Farley what Boyd product are we talking about? Do you have a name for me?

too bad it removes phosphates, I assume all the "metal removers" absorb phosphates, and probably and a greater rate than the metal one is really after.

It doesn't. That is a false claim as it relates to seawater. No organic resin material will directly remove significant phosphate from seawater. Thus, all of the big name metal removers are OK in this context: poly filter, cuprisorb, metasorb.
