Metroplex absolutely works for curing ich I manage a huge aquarium store and we had horrible outbreak in 1200 gallon display tank starting with black longnose tang. Trick is you need to use it for 6 weeks everyday for it to be effective. FYI metroplex is for ich and velvet it is maniples that is for internal parasites. I used both with focus along with seldom and garlic. Mix with mysis shrimp let sit 30 min and feed everyday for 6. Did not harm any corals shrimp or crabs/snails. Dr Gs was not attempted due to success of metroplex. Since then we’ve used it countless times and worked every time as long as fish is eating that is
