I am doing 3 scoops focus. 1 scoop metroplex. It's what my lfs told me to do I just forgot to ask how many times a day. I also had my uv sterilizer ballast go last night so tomorrow my new ballast will be here. I've been freaking out these past three days

Do your normal 3 times a day.

Okay thank you and I have dr. Gs. Antiparasite. Do you think I could feed this together also? And how soon should I see results with the metro?? I'm freaking out because the uv sterilizer takes care of free floating parasites and of course this had to break last night.

I would suggest backing of the dose of Dr. G by half. You should see results in a couple of days and after 10 you should really see results. Like anything results depend in how bad the infection is.

I do not have a sterilizer My thought is the sterilizer might help but just a bit. The treatment meds will have a better effect.

When feeding Metroplex with Focus, use a 1:1 ratio - 1 Seachem spoon of Metro, 1 Seachem spoon of Focus, and one tablespoon of food.

I try to feed three times a day - frozen in the morning and evening (roughly 2 cubes, or about a tablespoon) and a few pellets / flakes to chase around midday. I mixed the frozen food by sprinkling the meds onto the frozen cubes, and dripping on some Selcon and garlic extract - just because. When it was thawed, I stirred with a spoon, and dripped into the tanks a little at a time, spaced over a couple of hours. Any food not used can go into the refrigerator for the next feeding. I added the mix to pellets by dampening them a bit with the Selcon & garlic, and mixing until the pellets were infused with the meds, then stored that in the fridge, portioning it out as needed.

I replaced _all_ of the fishes' daily meals with the medicated food.

This was for internal parasites / stringy white poop.

Agreed ^^ No need to waste so much Focus with a 5:1 ratio.

I usually just feed this once a day, however, it can be done more often with smaller amounts of food or with fish that just don't eat much.

Yeah I'm only going to feed twice the third time I fed my tang barely ate it because he was full from nori and the other two times.

Hey how long would you say it took to see results with the metroplex? His body looks better but side fins look like they got my spots than they did yesterday?

When I've used metroplex it took only a few day before my clowns ick disappeared, although I kept feeding for about 3 weeks and I fed 3 times a day though I think the directions are every couple of days. Never tried focus with it though.

It depends, but give it about four days. That is a good sign that are looking better

I'm gonna feed for four weeks. I'm just afraid it will take long than a couple of days. I'm treating a tang and in the past with dr. Gs on my other tang when I had him it took a week or longer to look better I just figured metro would work faster.
