Metroplex/focus

I could only get the spots on his fins. He would swim away when I was trying to take a picture of the ones on his body.

This is velvet. I can see the tiny spots on his face as well. You'll have to remove the fish and treat with CP or Copper in a QT. I'm sorry, but feeding metroplex isn't going to do anything for him.

It's not velvet I've been through this before. If it was velvet he would be dead by now.

You'd know better than I would I'm sure. :) Best of luck

I wasn't trying to be offensive. I've been through this before. It's hard to see what's actually in the picture. I zoomed in and it pixelated. It's been two weeks he's been in there. If this was velvet from my experience the fish would be dead by now. I know this is ich I'm dealing with. Again I didn't mean to offend you if I did.

Whether it's velvet or ich, I think it's best to remove the fish and treat in a QT.

I know it's a pain to do this but you yourself said it, "I've been through this before" and managing this is no longer an option.

Agreed. I just went 9-11 weeks fallow and yet again it's gotten in my tank.
