I have a 2x250 mh with 2x54 watt t5

the t5 are actinic

i like a blue look but also want a good growth

do i go mh 14k? or stick with 20k? what do you all think

I run 20k, I like the look of the blue and get freak growth. Can't really compare to 14k because I've never ran that spectrum but I'm happy at 20k

20 k it will take a week or two to burn the true color darker at first then will get a little lighter shade of blue

I love the shimmer of halide way less shadows then led but lots of heat n bulb replacements on the flipside

I run all three types of set ups. My main has LEDs, frag tank has LEDs, have a 90 with the MH and t5 combo and a 29 with T5s.

The mars aqua are an awesome LED for the price. I have a hamilton MH and t5, have the radion pro x3 and then an ATI t5

I'm running the 24'' Hamilton as well. Best light I've owned. O, and I added a reef bright XHO

Ok. If they aren't the M80 that Hamilton carries they will run bluer than they would on M80s because they are being under driven. Nothing wrong with it just thought you should know. Spec ballast is M80 for a radium.
You won't be disappointed with Radium bulbs. That's what I run in my Gieseman Spectra.

Are you using the Luxcore electronic ballast, if so what setting are you using for the Radium bulbs. thanks
