Michigan reefers?

I've found a few Facebook groups that cater to michigan. It's actually the only reason I got it. I seem to remember plenty of people in that side of the state selling corals.

That's the part that always screws me, haha. I don't have any of those social sites. This is the only "social media " I have

Michigan reefers classifieds, Michigan saltwater classified and reef fanatics.

I hate them also. It's seriously the only reason I use it. No clue how to do anything else.

The other place is this site. Here's the link to the michigan specific livestock forum. You can find it in the forums, then just hit filter and put michigan in the prefix.

I used to use all those social things but it just became too much and all a mess. Somehow everything turned into politics and just spam stuff so I purged them all. Oh well.

Thank you

Is there anyone from the west side or GR area of Michigan? It's so difficult to find people with reefs to buy or trade or even talk about experience etc.
I am close to GR. I was on the NE side until recently but I am still close.

Pretty much. I used to line sales/trades up for frag swaps in parking lots until an organizer called the cops on me, my wife and two kids for loitering .

Needless to say I wasn't told to go anywhere and that event kicked off a proverbial **** show.

My tanks are in Michigan with my wife. Michigan born and bred, but in St Kitts for veterinary school. We are just north of Flint. Have a 75 gallon reef and 2 fluval evo 13.5s. We will be setting up our 47 gallon rimless shortly as an anemone dominated tank, and converting our 65 gallon into another reef. I do use the local facebook pages (although there is never much and they're super cliquey, as stated earlier, and the local Michiganreefers.com website is pretty much dead, unless you count people posting in the classifieds, or chinese spam bots posting jibberish... I try to go to some of the frag swaps when I'm home, but unfortunately I'm not able to attend most of them.
