microbacter7 question

Newbie question but seems like people are doing it -- why would you bother adding Microbacter to established systems?

I think it's meant to keep the population healthy and thriving. It seems to help all around.

I pour directly into my sump once a week. Last week I accidentally pour into the main display, nothing happened though. All is well.

I imagine if you were to "target feed" micro7 to a coral un diluted it wouldn't be so pleasant. But just dumping it in the tank in an area of high flow seems to be perfectly fine. Although diluting with water first proboly helps the dispersal
