Mike and Terry's 300g Reef

Awesome as usual. Really liking the first and last pics (especially), but all are nice shots.

Your tank, setup, reef... all of it is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much Tonya!

Amazing - Love the wood work.

That really is beautiful work.

Thank you both! We were fortunate to be able to salvage the skin, doors and side cabinets after the first tank's bottom seal ruptured.

We are getting excited about our annual reef party this Saturday. We have a tradition of collecting canned goods for the Central Virginia Food Bank. Last year, we added some incentive to get our guests to donate more by adding a raffle. Our guests receive 1 raffle ticket for every 2 items they donate. Here's a pic of the food (approx 150 lbs) that was donated last year:

Here's a list of some of the prizes we'll be raffling off this year:
$50 LiveAquaria gift certificate
$25 Live Aquaria gift certificate
$25 Premium Aquatics gift certificate
Hanna Alk Checker
Hanna Phosphate Checker
ROX Carbon
TLF VeggieMag
Acrylic Pro Fish Bagger (we have 2)
TLF Algae Sheets
NLS Pellets
Penn-Plax Silent Air B11 Series AC/DC backup air pumps (We have a few of these)

The members of Richmond Reef Club have a lot to be proud of! Their generosity was on display at last night's meet, with our combined donations to FeedMore (the parent company for the Central Virginia Food Bank) coming in at a whopping 300 pounds! We doubled our donations over the 2011 meet, and almost 20% of the collections this year were high-protein food items that make a huge difference for those in need.

A huge thank you also goes out to Rev for the generous donation of some awesome tee's and Instant Ocean foods for our raffle. Thanks to Reef2Reef, no one left empty handed.

Terry and I are both humbled and very proud of our Richmond Reefers group who came together to help the community!

300 is a good number for you guys... Very nice!

That's really awesome of you two and everybody that chipped in, sounds like a fun way to help out.

Brett, the tank is doing well. Things have been crazy here at home with my mom's illness (she's back in the hospital again). And taking care of my 5 yr old niece the past few weeks has been quite an experience, not to mention, a bit exhausting, LOL. It's been a while since we've had a little one around and my routine has been completely turned upside down.

I will try to get a few updated pics uploaded in the next couple of days.

You guys (and your reef) are great!! :D
Awwwe, thanks Tonya!

Hi Terry, sorry to hear about your mom. she'll be in my prayers tonight. I know what you mean with being really busy with a 5yr old. my boys are 3 and 4.. they keep us busy.

Thank you Rev! We sure got a good workout loading it all up in the truck to take to the food bank.
