Mike and Terry, Thank you for this beautiful tank, each time I look at your tank, I drool all over my keyboard. Love the leopard wrasse.

Wow. Inspiring; motivational. Love the blotched anthias, and, is that a Regal Angel?

Thank you, Jeff! And, yes, that is our Regal Angelfish. She's been with us for about 5 years now.

How about some updated pics:

Beautiful shots!

Absolutely awesome..!!! I started in saltwater about 2 years ago and have had more downs than ups. Today I came across this thread and am totally blown away... I was thinking of breaking down an going back to freshwater but after reading this build there's no chance of that happening anytime soon!!

Ps I think I may have a new wrasse obsession!! :cheer2:

Bean, welcome to R2R, and thanks for using your first post in our thread!
Your comment really made our day. It is one thing to manage through our own ups and downs, but to help someone else to get through theirs, is a great thing indeed.
Let us know if we can help with any of your issues.

you guys are killing it! you guys still have both tanks running?

always a treat to see a vid of this tank. :) :)

Thanks so much Marvin!

Thank You! and yes, both tanks are still running. We've got a couple of big things happening on the 300g right now (good stuff), so once the dust settles, we'll work on posting an update on the nano.

We have a few cuties in QT that we hope to be adding to the display soon. One of the coolest, and a first in the Chaetodon genus for us, is a tiny little Tinker's Butterflyfish (Chaetodon tinkeri). What this little cutie lacks in size he/she more than makes up for in PERSONALITY, LOL. I managed to snap a quick pic the other day and thought I would share:
tinkerii.jpg

Excuse the quality - I didn't want to stress the fish too much. The Tinker's is chilling out with a female Pintail Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lanceolatus). a terminal male Attenuatus Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus attenuatus) and a male Tomentosus Filefish.

The fish have all gone thru Prazi treatments and are healthy. To make them more comfortable while we condition and fatten them up for the display, we added some live rock rubble (a couple with some aiptasia), a small colony of purple stylophora and a zoa rock (Tinkerbell's) with some aiptasia on it and some chaeto (filefish are omnivores). The filefish has been picking at the aiptasia and leaving the zoa's alone so far. And surprisingly, the Tinker's is ignoring the coral as well. We're planning to move everyone into the display in another week or so, so stay tuned...
