Mike and Terry's 300g Reef

^^ Thanks, Rev. May have to re-do the video with different music as it was flagged for copyright on youtube for that awesome song. Not a big deal, except the video is blocked in certain countries (thank goodness, not this one!).

Nice video if u keep the music volume low in the beginning then turn it up it should not flag sing a long and call it your remix then it will go world wide

Great video, thanks for sharing!
Thank you!

Thank you! Hmmm... I did not know about the volume... interesting. As for singing along, probably not a good idea for me, LOL!

Fantastic pics and I love the video!! :)

We need some more pic's!

Yea ^^^. Hows that Frag tank doin?

Sorry guys! We've been slackers when it comes to updates of late...

We have been very pleased with the AI Hydra 52 fixture and just picked up 2 more:

Now we just have to find time to install them.

We would also like to introduce our latest addition to the display:

He has been hanging out in the acclimation box for the past 3 days while everyone gets acquainted.

We have a busy few days ahead, but promise to get some updated pics posted by the middle of next week (including a couple of shots of the frag tank).

Your quite daring! I love Lemonpeel Angels. Im just a scaredy cat....LOL Good luck with him.

Love the subtle little touches of blue on that fish, so pretty. Any interest from the flame?

We hear ya, Andy... we've moved most of the LPS (except chalices, a large blasto merletti colony and a large favia colony) over to the 30 rimless. Thankfully, they leave those LPS colonies alone. The bit of plucking our Angels and the Tinker's do hasn't caused any real damage to our SPS colonies and interestingly, their plucking seems to promote new growth.

Very nice, I love Lemonpeels but I love my clams more so none for me!

We understand, Chris. We had our first Flame Angel for 7 or 8 years and he never once picked at a clam, but I would NEVER trust our Regal with them, so sadly, we have been clam-less now for years. This C. flavissima is quite a bit more orange than the norm - we're hoping he keeps that coloration.

It will probably be next weekend before we get the new light fixtures installed.

Beautiful new Angel addition you two, would love to see your Reef in person some day if I ever find myself back in VA. I spent a couple of years in Hampton '74-75 when in Jr High while my dad was working out of Patrick Henry AFB. My wife and I have talked about spending a couple weeks touring the Smithsonian in DC and possibly down to the Outer Banks in NC to check out the "other shore" ???

Cheers, Todd

Thank You, Todd and if you do decide to make a trip to the East Coast, you are more than welcome here!

which dropcam do you have? is there anyway for it to produce a more clear/crisp image or higher resolution? it's a great idea. any reason you didn't go with some of the more popular options with PTZ and/or higher resolution, was it due to the cloud recording feature?
