Mikes Gone Shallow...

Just and FYI for people viewing, the front dark rock is a frag cave that's holding my frags until I can make final placement.

Added in my 50B refugium...just need to start stocking it!

This is all after I had to tear the tank down due to faulty silicone...came home one day and the panels were separating...So I got a replacement tank and here we are today!

Great looking setup..... Was it the DB 80g that was separating?

Yes it was, I contacted deep blue and the LFS I bought it from and I had a new one within 2 days. All is well now.

Looks great nice rock work..
Iam just going to give you a little heads up. Remove and paint the hinges on that stand they will rust in a weeks time. And do your best to keep it dry as possible in that stand like a little exhaust fan. Reason i am telling you is i have replaced a number of these. One looked pregnant from the moisture in the particle board. I run a small bead of silicone between the wood panels meet at the bottom to keep any water from getting in if you have a flood or anything. Another idea is to open up the side door at night to let any moisture out.

Thanks for the heads up. I have the sump drilled through into the basement. I've been thinking of adding some 2x4s for extra peace of mind.

I set up one with a DB 150 high it does hold its weight well. And a numer of 57gal 75 and the 80 they are nice the side door is a great idea along with the rimless line of tanks. Had huge deal with DB that 9 out of 10 bulkheads are bunk they do not thread or had unmelted plastic beeds in the threads hopefully they fixed that.
I saw the bassement sump in picture wasnt sure if i was seeing two sumps.

You're correct, there are two sumps. One is a 50B refugium and the other is a sump to hold equipment. I def agree with bulkheads, I used BRS bulkheads instead.
