Very true. Low VOC exterior paint would work well to seal it inside.

I'm an LED guy but for that size I would totally do T5's... oh and paint the stand for sure. Love this build!

frag tank... what fish do you consider for pest control.
I'm thinking three fish at the most.

Springeri damsel. Best flat worm eater and a relatively peaceful damsel. Also will keep pods in check.

If it is low flow, add 2 mollies acclimated for SW for algae control.

Medium to high flow for algae, get a lawnmower blenny and just pick a third fish that fits.
