Seems like this is a hotspot for us poor Minnesota Folks that have to take the ocean to them!! (Or used to Mr. AZ) I clearly will have to do this as it seems to be a consensus that is is the place to be!

I will make my way over there, again being so new I guess i figured it was for more reefer geeks then I am now, but when i say it out loud it may be the perfect place for a beginner to be.

Not in Minnesota but I will say welcome to R2R and your new reefing family anyway. I'm very fortunate as it's a short walk to the Gulf from my front door!

I used to be able to say the same, with the exception I lived in So. Cal (San Clemente) and lived 100 yards off the ocean. Man I miss it! Thanks again DBL!

Thanks Mike!! not much to take pictures of yet, simply a bunch of rocks sitting by themselves! i hope to get a clean up crew in there soon as i am just starting to get a bit of algae growing. ;Wideyed

I was originally from Austin (born, raised). Did university at St. Thomas and now am out in Cincinnati for past 20 yrs. Wow, that is a long time now. Still get home once a year to see family. Although, Austin is no longer the town I grew up in. Very sad to say. Rivals we are!!! Go Packers!

Well if you know any Leif's in Austin there's a very good chance I'm either related or friends with them. Yeah unfortunately drugs have taken their toll in both Albert Lea and Austin:-( otherwise they're decent communities.
