Mine was buying lights that I couldn’t use when I upgraded to a bigger tank and had to buy new ones. And not quarantining fishMy biggest mistake of 2018 was buying a "reef safe" pufferfish
Using bayer advanced to dip my corals-
Killed all my shrimp, all my crabs, and a sand shifting gobbie.....
I used 20 ML per cup (2 cups) for 12 mins, rinsed in 3 different salt water cups, thought I really did a great job rinsing them but apparently not good enough.... it was a learning lesson for sure, that stuff is really toxic- wish I had the room for a quarantine tank.... regrets for 2018 for sure
I was thinking about clams, what lighting do you run?
- Killing the first saltwater fish I bought. Had it for 2 years until I overdosed NoPox.
- Convincing myself that I can take care of clams. Now 0 for 2 and it makes me feel awful.
Yikes. What happened?Mine was putting a tang that was supposed to be "qt'ed" at a LFS straight in my dt. Never do that again. Lesson learned. Although with the new info I read about ich going dormant and lasting longer than 76 days, I'm ready to forget the fallow period and begin ich management.
I can relate to that..Not putting a screen on top of my QT...twice. :/
I managed to move enough rocks around to catch all the fish. I did loose the tang I'm qt but the rest seem to be troopersYikes. What happened?

What exactly are live sales I hear of them a lot but I don’t know what they are or when they are?Drinking during @CherryCorals Live sale! Don't drink and order. Not really to mad. Drunk me has good taste in coral![]()
There are companys like @CherryCorals and @AquaSD that will put on sales through R2R. They have awesome deals on frags and even some colonies. Basically they post pictures on the forum and you click on the coral you want and it takes you to their site to purchase. But you have to be the first to put it in your cart and check out. So you need to be fast. You don't always get the ones you want so it can be fun and frustrating for some.
