I thought that but it is definitely just crystallised salt, strange eh the shop I got the salt from I trust more than any others in my area too, will phone them in the morning and see if they know why it's like this

There was a discussion a couple months ago and consensus was that the salt produced accurate numbers

What temp do you have you main tank?

Its all good. That's what R2R is here for. We all started at some point. I am currently upgrading from a 120 gal tank to a 225 gal tank. ;Woot;Jawdrop

I keep my tank at 78 degrees.
