Mobius to G5 comnection issues

I cant seem to get Mobius app to see my Radion G5. I have three, sometimes it will see one light, and the serial number for the device looks different than the lights identification number. I have hard reset them, and unplug them from power, in attempt to fix this. A ideas?

The biggest issue I've found is other Bluetooth devices in the area that might interfere with the signal. Make sure their aren't any Bluetooth speakers or anything else putting out a signal.

G5's have wifi capability, you just need to use it. I have 5 XR15 G5 Blues, along with several other things on mobius. I have found that the Wifi works better on the lights.

I’m having trouble connecting to my XR30 G5 as well. Mobius says there is a firmware update, but every time I try to run it, I get a “Request Timed Out” error.

I wasn't aware of wifi capabilities but my Bluetooth generally works fine. Occasionally it fails to connect and I do a hard close on the app and a few minutes later it is fine.

Are you still having problems with your G5’s? If you have a weird looking serial number that is with numbers and symbols it’s probably a driver issue. With that said you have to contact Ecotech, I have the same problem with three of my lights and have been in contact with them and have to send my lights in to be replaced/fixed.

We printed out a pic of a reindeer, blew it up and held it outside our kitchen French doors and took pics of it until it looked like it was outside on the deck and showed it to my kids. It worked.

Update, it was a hardware issue with three of my lights. Called Ecotech and we are currently replacing them.
