remember one thing with flashers. The life span seems shorter then other wrasse so get them young
We all prefer something different but I lean towards the carpenters. Mccoskers looks closer to a pintail colors is my main reason. They should get along but wrasse can be difficult.
I try and get them small and young females. I have better luck that way. Also I like to add in groups to spread any bullying from others.
Can’t go wrong with any flasher but the eight line and diamond tail I think get bigger and little more aggressive.

yellow, royal ,blue, Filamented, Linespot are a few gems.

I'm going to take it. Here's what he looks like.

One last thing that helped me add wrasse was a acclimation box in the display tank. Give them time to see each other before setting them free.

Yes, I've been thinking about that and have looked but haven't seen anything that i like. Have any suggestions?

p.s. It never ends. It's always something. ;Hilarious

Haha it never ends. Always something else. So true.
I have a octo aquatics SHU box. They have a few sizes but they can build anything you want.

If fish in tank don’t react crazy I wait until fish in box settles a little then open door and let them leave when ready. It is a safe place for them to come back to before leaving for good. Many don’t use one but I had struggles before using a box.

@Crabby48 Okay, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on an acclimation box from Octo aquatics. I think I am going with the O'Reily 10" x 6" x 6". That should be big enough for the fish' I am adding to my system. I am planning on going with a clear bottom, rather than black or white, and slots in the front to add more water flow to the box. Any thoughts or suggestions before I order it? thx, buddy.

I think that’s the size box I got. I would get as many slots they offer. I did a white bottom figuring it would let the fish know it has a bottom. Not sure if it matters. I did order an extra magnet after ordering the box for little more security.

Yeah, I agree... probably will make the fish feel a little more secure with a colored bottom. I'm off to order it. Thanks for helping me spend some of my $$.;)

Fun spending others money. Just passing along what I was told and learned along the way.

A Napoleon Wrasse in the Red Sea. What an awesome fish. Really neat how he's checking out the divers. Man, I'm going to need a lot bigger tank to hold him. ;Hilarious

What a bummer. The CUC that I ordered from Reef Cleaners made it from Florida to the Phila. post office in 2 days. It was sent on Tues. of this week and made it to the phila. post office on thurs. at 11am. It left the phila. post office at 11:13am on thurs. 2/18 and I still haven't gotten it. the phila. post office is a little over an hour from my house.

the dang package makes it over 1000 miles in less than 2 days, and can't make another 50-60 miles in 4 days. I had several peppermint shrimp, matrix crabs, several dozen hermit crabs and snails. If i'm lucky, i may be able to salvage a few hermit crabs. Ridiculous!!!! and a few other choice words.

Fortunately, they have an arrive alive guarantee. So, I can get my money back, but I need the CUC--especially the peppermint shrimp.

I guess I am going to get the peppermint shrimp and hermit crabs from WWC. I have a $50 credit i can use to buy them, and then pay $30 for fedx overnight delivery.

The USPS is useless.

p.s. I also have a check valve that i need for my doser. It's been in the mail 1.5 weeks coming from Arizona. It's essentially an envelope and USPS can't get it here.

Amazingly, my package from Reef Cleaners showed up yesterday afternoon after 8 days. Pretty much everything was dead except for 1 of 2 peppermint shrimp and a couple snails. Out of all of the things that I thought would make it, a shrimp was the last of them.

Also, my check valve from Arizona finally showed up yesterday after 2 weeks.

I could continue with my issues with the USPS, but then it would sound like I'm ranting.;Hilarious

Received my fish acclimation box from @cromag27 . I got the O'reilly at 10" x 6" x 6". It's a thing of beauty and I'm sure will work as well. I looked at several other acclimation boxes and nothing with this quality--and to boot this wasn't anymore expensive than what was on the market. And the magnet is killer on this thing. Here's a few pics.

Picked up the carpenter's wrasse from tsm aquatics early this afternoon. Forgot to get a pic of him in the acclimation box from octo aquatics, but it was obvious there wasn't going to be any issues with him or my existing fish. I opened the top and he eventually swam out about a half hour later. He started swimming around with my pintail wrasse. Here's a few pics.
