I am thinking about lining the inside of the stand with some shower type board. we will see what the local lowes has.
Why not just use epoxy or epoxy paint?

sweet water is nice but dark.. i have unlimited acrylic and lexan so you know my choice lol...well unlimited to a extent..

Looking good... What size is the sump?? Looks like 1/4" material if so you might want to put a euro in it for a saftey factory... Without one your gonna have some deflection...
I will be adding a 1 inch brace. I have to cut it yet. but thanks sump is 20 by 28 x 15

what kind of flow are you gonna be running threw the sump?? i have built hundreds of sumps like that even all the ones for myself... but my current one i went with big flow in a similiar size sump and i couldnt get rid of the micro bubbles for nothing, so i made a new one and made the baffles under over under and it cured the problem...im running a airstar 3200 return pump so it looked like a white rapids threw that puppy lol.... something to keep in mind down the road if you ever a make a new one it's obvious that its not the last one you will build.....great job on it btw. it looks nice and clean...![]()

Looks great so far Mojo...
question though...
with what appears to be a 7-8" high set of baffles, why would you be at all concerned about deflection and euro bracing?...
There will only be 7-8" of water...so it seems unnecessary to me, especially with the front to back support you have with the three installed baffles...
just curious...![]()
