Morangus Biocube 29 build

Following. I wanna know about those timers too. Would be great for when I forget to turn the fan on...

Also love seeing new nanos. <3 nanos. Can't wait to see it filled up with corals.

They work just like an ordinary appliance timer but they are programmed from a PC, android or apple device through bluetooth app. They were advertised in the Ace flyer.

Searched on google but can't find anything... Can you provide a link to them? How many devices can you configure on one?

Here is the one at Ace Hardware

I was looking at power strips with 4 ports that you can program different times and then plug that into my UPS. I have 4 lights to program.

I have one made by zilla less than $30 and it can control 8 total with 4 on all the time and 2 daytime and 2 night time. Works great no issues.

This is how I set it up

Power distribution
Skimmer (10am-6pm) First left
Actinic's (10am-6pm) second left
Heater (6pm-10am) third left
Moon lights LED ( 6pm-10am) fourth left
Pump main (always on) first right
Circulation pump (always on) second right
ATO (always on) third right
Main lights (10am-5pm) Fourth Right with addition timer installed

IMO It doesnt need 24 hours a day. My parameters are all in check and my water changes are six weeks apart. My cup is pretty clean just minimal stuff even at 24 hours a day. Heater is only needed at night when the temps drop (AC set at 72deg). I have it set so my temps are between 79.0-81 deg. 81 is the highest tank temp during the heat of the day so no need for heat during that time.

Ya I thought it would build up over time but to squirt 2.0ppm of ammonia on day one is alot. At best it looks like .50 so 4x more?
