Most expensive fish

that I've had: Japanese Dragon Moray, back before they were as common, had an offer of 4k at one point on him.

That I purchased for our store to sell: a Rhinopias Scorpion. Still my hands down favorite fish out there, ironically on first day I was off after it had come in, the guy who was a scorpionfish nut and turned into a coke dealer, told me it had "died" when he was the only one around *sighs*

Not in the nutty extreme price like some of the angels, but still hold a base value just because of the difficulty in collecting.

And just as we've seen with individual corals and zoas, the random/not-so random morphs usually bring the most dynamic price, thus FW with much more breeding going on brings in some of the highest one off prices for things like Koi and Arrowanas. Admittedly what the heck a Koi, you can have 100+ years of enjoyment (well you and your children  ) so maybe cheaper if broken down as price per year?

how about I have a clownfish that I will part with for the low sum of 1.25mil? Does that win most expensive?
