Hi everyone!

I'm looking for the most quiet return pump for a bedroom setup.
The volume of my tank is 110l / 29gal and I will connect the pump to a cooler (Teco TK500) which has a min / max flow of 400-800l / h (105-210gal / h).
I have looked at the Abyzz A100. What do you think, would it be possible to run it continuously at say 3-5%?
And if so, would that be the most quiet option for my application?
I gratefully accept suggestions.

Thanks!
/ Tony

Another for Jebao.
Had a Sicce SDC and it was loud compared to the Jebao.
I also bought two Jebaos for one Sicce.

glad you had good luck with Jebao as mine was not good. had one every time I turned around it would just stop while i was away even if it was just cleaned. another just stopped working for no apparent reason, I went back to using my old big mag drive. sicce sdc 6 I have you can't hear it even with my head next to it at 100%, Sicce has a 5 year warranty. i know a number of people that will swear by the Sicce SDC

I have a sicce Syncra 4 and a 2. they may be reliable but I hear mine clearly. DC pumps are quieter but not as reliable in my experience. there are tricks to reduce vibration noise. If you're hard plumbing I find that "floating" the pump just a little and putting a sponge foam pad underneath helps alot.

Whichever DC pump you choose, a piece of silicone tubing between the output and your return line plumbing will help deaden any vibration.

I agree they can't be up against the wall of the sump and even hard plumped I would suggest using a short length of silicone hose. The sdc is dc controlled and they have silicone feet. I will wait and see about life on it.

I've tried many of the popular ac pumps that were billed as being quiet.
But it wasn't until I tried a dc pump the Vectra L1 years ago that I truly found a silent pump.
While the original L1's didn't last very long, the newer versions have proven to be longer lasting and are very, very quiet.
I also have to add the RD3's to my list as very quiet pumps.
