Most readily consumed trace elements?

Kind of off topic, but I have been reading conflicting opinions on how to store saltwater, specifically IO. I will be storing it in a brute trash can, should I circulate and/or heat it when stored? How long can it be stored safely? Thanks

I stored normal IO for a month or more unheated and unstirred while I used for for automatic daily water changes. It does not have organic matter in it, so can't really get "stagnant".
