We were thinking about taking it but it just doesn't make sense. We would need to put a converter on the APEX (fine...) but then we'd be limited to US electronics for the rest of the APEX's lifespan. If a skimmer breaks or a pump, we can't just go to the LFS, we'd need to get one from the US and pay for (ridiculously high) shipping to NZ.
Taking the fish isn't even an option. NZ requires quarantine even for fish. So I'll have to let everything go. Figuring out how much to sell it for at the moment and how to best do that. The only thing that's decided so far is that my two clowns and their anemone won't get separated
I heard amazing things about Tutukaka and can't wait to go diving there myself. I love that there is such a large marine reserve right around the corner from where I'll live.
Thanks for the welcome everyone!
