Moving pad - The perfect addition to your maintenance routine!

It's so simple, but I always use a moving pad (purchased rather cheaply at Lowes/Harbor Freight/Amazon, etc). I have brand new wood floors and would hate to get salt damage on them so this is what I use and it easily soaks up any of the normal drops here or there that might happen.

Again simple but it's helped me so much I thought I'd share in case it might help someone else as well.

I only wash it every other month or so and it's good to go again.

Do you have anything that you use to protect your floors?

I use mine whenever I plan on doing anything substantial around the tank from WC's to even changing or cleaning the skimmer cup

I've got a few of them around for variety of uses. That's one when working around the tank. I'm lucky enough to have ran a Great Dane dealership garage so mine were free lol. Now if I need a new one my buddy gives em to me from the semi shop he runs.

I keep a stack of towels near my tank and put them down when ever I do anything that might have a chance to drip water. She who must be obeyed has deemed it so.

I use the Moving Covers and the Workout Pads for the knees from Harbor Freight.

2 overlapping diaper changing pads. Kept the carpet perfect. Small enough that I was encouraged to use one or both anytime I put my hand in the tank.
