Mechanical - I use the filter socks, however I bought a third one to change out more frequently. I tried a refugium in chamber 1 but it didnt work well at all.
I run a carbon GFO reactor that has been controlling my phosphates right now. I bought it off of BRS and its awesome. Personally i would buy the smaller one but I will be upgrading so why not get the bigger one.
I also have the Aquamaxx HOB-1 skimmer. Its Rated up to 65 gallons but its adjustable so you dont over-skim.
As of right now I wouldn't change anything but my heater since these cobalts have been horrible and don't work how I want them too.

Sunday update with a 25% water change. In PA its been very unstable temperature so my tank was all over the place. Finally the temp has leveled out so we are so far doing good. A ton of stuff especially zoas will be fragged next weekend so if anyone is interested... LET ME KNOW! Enjoy!

I mix carbon & HC GFO in my mini desktop reactor, packed together as noted above. It's a fusion 20 but I run 50ml of .8 ROX carbon & 10ml HC GFO, changing both every 6 weeks. Phosphates will remain around .02-.03, and I like to feed the tank when the fish are in it

Just a little update. Im having issue with cyano algae only because of my stupidity. I cut some zoas and put them on frag plugs, 16 to be exact. The seeped out some nitrates so I had a little spike but it should be under control. I also got an extension tube for my camera... enjoy!

Ca - 450 ppm
Mg - 1380 ppm
NO3 - 10 ppm
PO4 - .03 ppm
Salinity - 1.025 @ 35ppm

Alright Alright everyone calm down! The update is coming! School has been super busy I forgot how long grading tests and planning takes but here ya go enjoy. I got an extension tube and a DSLR viewer.

Well here we go for a new update! I'm on the fence about getting a Radion xr 15 gen 4 pro and start introducing more SPS or getting a Xr30 Gen 3 pro. Any thoughts? Heres some Pics!
