Me. Saltwater tanks videos helped me a lot when I was a noob, after 2 years I'm still a noob, and wasn't sure which lfs was giving me good info or trying to sell me their products. MST always gave me good info and I never paid him a dime. This one incident may have rubbed you the wrong way but he has helped a lot of new enthusiasts without ever receiving a penny from them, or even a thank you. Last year he ran a special where if you bought the apex through him he would walk you through the setup personally over the phone. Sure apex probably threw him a bone for it but do you know anyone else out there selling the apex that is willing to do that. I don't. Explaing how to set up an apex is no easy task and deserves compensation. I do understand the frustration with an add promoting free stuff that only leads to a sales attempt and maybe Mark should have worded it differently but this good man does not deserve to have his reputation smeared.

760Mason, don't you feel like a turd now? After bashing Mr. Saltwater Tank, I hope you don't use his free video. You probably should just return your Apex since you've already bashed that company too.

I enjoy his videos and don't mind supporting him. He has done all the leg work so I can simply. Sit on the internet and find valuable information. If he discusses something I'm familiar with I simply don't watch it.

Maybe some of your anger should be directed towards Apex. They are the ones who placed the postcard in the product.
