I only use a skimmer in my 29 cube, no other filter media. It’s a Aquamaxx in the 2nd chamber.

I think you need at least 1 additional powerhead, I have 2. I also modded the return into a manifold to get more even flow.

Flow won't be a problem for me I don't think. I am going to be using a gyre 230 as low as possible. But that's an awesome looking tank!

Nano done right - Great Job. The cubes are really nice tanks. I stashed the two I upgraded to a 40 breeder with in the garage. Ironically when I upgraded the 40 to the 210 last year I tossed the 40 Little mods here or there and you are off to the races. Since you went rimless you could get a blueacro multi channel chip, or the one from nanobox, and have some serious lighting and options open up.

It’s a XR15 G4 pro. A little overkill but I can grow anything with it. I’m just starting off now with a few acros. I wanted a light that would let me progress.
