So as i said i'm new to this but got a couple of tips on a couple of friends to build this AIO. Took a sheet of acrylic and cut a wall of 10 x 12 this would separate the filtration from the main display area. This total filtration area has a space of 10x5x12 consisting of 3 chambers. In the first chamber is the overflow which water flows down through the pad onto the chemipure and up through to the 2nd chamber. In the 2nd Chamber i have rubble with feather duster, Chaeto and the Diy Skimmer, flowing down to the third chamber which just has the minijet 606 and from there through a nozzle to the main display area.

I sped up the cycle of the tank by adding live rock and water from a friends aquarium, ( but nonetheless its still cycling but its down to only small patches of cyano being less with time. I add water myslef every day about a bottle due to evaporation havnet had the time to make an ATO. I do weekly water changes adding microbacteria with a salinity of 1.026,

The lights are hanging from a metal tubes i had around that i welded about 1.5 feet above the tank

DOnt know what else to say any question , suggestion , or comments are welcomed

I took a 2 inch PVC pipe cut it about 9 inches tall with one end being a 45 angle cut and on that end i glued an acrilyc piece ( so i can see how dirty it is) with silicone. On the other end goes a limewood stone ( for the fine bubbles as i was told the finer the bubbles the better) with the normal plastic tubing that air goes through. and on the top a hole with a bigger tubing for the exceess nutrients to get out and i collect it in a water bottle .

i was looking around coral pedia and they seem like a morph of alien eye i plan on trying to trade it for another type of zoa here locally

and about the chromie damm my poodle had a good snack that day she seemed happy lol

i really hope i can get this 10g looking as beautiful as some ive seen around here

Looking really great! Your zoanthids all look very happy and healthy. Keep up the good work. :clap2:

I know you said it's a standard 10 gallon tank but that really does NOT look like standard 10 gallon tank dimensions, it looks more like a 15 gallon to me because it's considerably taller looking than a standard 10 gallon tank looks
A standard 10 gallon is 12" tall, that definitely looks taller

MAllorie thanks makes me really happy to hear that from somebody that knows way tons than me :bounce:

Tinctorus maybe it looks that way becasue i take a pic of just the main part of teh tank it has 5 inches to the side i didnt take a pic because that is the filtration area but yes it is a 10 g standard tank, and i got curious so i measured it again jaajajaj yep it is 12 inches tall. BUt thanks i hope that means you like it

imma hold back a bit to save some money until january because i have to take my CPA exam and it cost around $400 but after january i plan to change some more corals and a add one more chromis

excuse i was wondering of some type of fish that would clean crush coral like a gobby that i could add to my aquarium. Beacuse most of the gobby i know are either too big and the ones that are small enough dont clean crush coral they just eat meaty food , or clean sand. if not what other thing i could put in there besides hermits and turbo snail.
