Rick is building me some canopies for all my tanks out of acrylic. He's bringing them to the meeting on Saturday! I'm so excited to get those mounted. I think it will really set off the tank!

Sure do, why not? He's nowhere near the size of yours. Lol. Once he gets bigger I'll pull him out with my redneck fish trap. Solo cup on a string, done caught a naso that way.lol. By the way, here's a FTS.

Both the tang and the fox face are very small. I first got them to deal with the hair algae. I don't have any problems with that anymore. Also, with all those fish in my tank I'm able to keep my nitrates under 10ppm all the time. I've checked it as low as under 5.

The meat coral was in my frag tank. It got too big for my 20 gallon early on. I would set on my couch with the string in my hand, and as soon as that naso went in, SNATCH!!! Right up to my mesh top! You have to read that in a redneck voice.

After helping Greg do his lights, I decided that I wanted to add some T5s to my tank. I found a great deal on a Icecap 430 ballast with harness and end caps. All I need is some reflectors. I am going to keep the LEDs and supplement with the T5s. I also got me a Icecap 660 to go on my frag tank. The LEDs have definitely changed the color of my acans and I want to bring those beautiful rainbows back to their greatness. So I will be redesigning the light rack and using the acrylic canopy that Rick is building to enclose it. Hopefully I'll be able to build it in the next couple of weeks.

I am planning on it. Im a little worried about getting too much light on the tank. I want to add 4 t5's but I already have 36 LED's. What I'm actually thinking is take the 18 whites off or just cutting them off, so that I'll have 18 Blue LED's and the 4 24'' T5's. I have about 8 geismann and ATI bulbs laying around the house so that won't cost me anything. I know 6 of them were used for less than a month. Hopefully I'll get to complete this 2 weekends from this last weekend. Crazy busy latley.
