My 30 gal. Jbj rl has arrived !!

When you got your kessil. Did you start with intensity on full? I do have 3 zoa frags and just one clown. Can I overkill it of it start on full?

Which one did you get, 160 or 360?

I didn't start at full and still am not at that, I have one of each 160 and the 350 because I felt the 350 just wasn't getting the whole tank, not sure if this makes sense .

You will bleach them, acclimate everything on the lowest setting for a few days then start upping intensity. What size is your tank?

Both of ours is 30 gallon jbj, hi Cameron, and that's pretty much what I did and for me to get all the areas in my tank enough light I would have bleached some and then some would not have had enough that's why I kept both lights, but that's because I have "lots " of sea creatures

Alright well I just wanna say that I wouldn't really go full power with (depending on how high you have it off the water. It can still bleach them I ran mine at half at all times in my 30 gallon biocube. Awesome lights these kessils are......but strong. I had mine 1 foot off the water

Hi Chrisfish! Yeah kessil can be a bit annoying haha, you have to strategically place corals so they all get about the same light. On the ones around the outskirts seem to need more light, so you turn it up and the ones directly under the light catch a beating haha

Ok here's some new pictures , I added a barnacle piece after I saw Helens 29 bio cube with them. I also added a group of blue mushrooms, love them. Hope you all are all enjoying your little piece of the sea as much as I do!!

I noticed it too lol. Very cute. I haven't added anything new since last post. Hopefully this weekend I can make it to my hook up, he got a shipment Tuesday and waiting to see what he got in
