No I never bought the controller, should have but I run it simply by just turning it on about 35% all day, then the lowest at night all the way on blue

I have it but have not set it up yet:rolleyes: I pretty much am doing what you are.

Sorry for the delay, got to doing my rock work on the 3 gallon do to a leak and got sidetracked. Yeah it's no fun dialing the light yourself, but still an awesome light. I need to buy a controller, I suppose 100 is a pretty good price

Yes that is what I paid for mine. I did a lot of price searching and unless someone is having a sale that's what you'll pay. Are you running your 3 gallon ?

Sorry again for the delay! Had a couple things to do. I just finished the rock work earlier and now it's sitting to recycle:( although I saw one of those annoying starfish in there a second ago lol. Can't get rid of those guys. Here it is as of right now, tried to make a couple small shelves for ZOAS! Lol I even used a small piece of tonga branch to hole the front shelf up on the top left.the. center shelf on the bottom I'll have to play around with to straighten up

This the light I use for all my tanks refugiums-on my aio's-Sea Clear System II 75gal, 20G JBJ, and 14gal Fusion. It grows chaeto very well.
