It should be plenty. How high off the water do you have it? I had mine over my 29 biocube and when it's turned up all the way, it's overkill. Do you have any zoas in the tank? If so, where do you have them placed?

I would say about 6-7 inches off and yes I have Zoas they are about in the middle of the tank.

The Zoas are doing great I'm just worried that I have some "blind spots"
Hmm, you can go with the 360 if down the road if it isn't keeping up. But it should be alright.

I noticed that you said you lived in Virginia beach. I know a lot of people down there and we visit there quite frequently. Where in Va beach do you live?

Hey baby Ray I live close to Towne Center and independence blvd. , where do your friends live? So far I really like the 30 gallon, as usual there have been some issues , micro bubbles and I know at some point I need an ATO, especially if I go out of town for any period of time , right now I'm doing my own top offs but it's a labor of love.Hey Chrisfish. Most of the people I know down there live by chicks beach or on bay island.
I do manual ATO also. Very obnoxious but totally worth it.
I think marine depot has a new ATO that is the size of a penny!!!!! I have been looking into it but ATO systems are always a risk. I don't want an extra 5 gallons of water in my tank or on the floor.

I live 5 minutes away from chicks beach and have some friends on bay island as well . Yeah I know what you mean about spilt water, I have hardwood floors and the 2 don't go well together. Do you go to any lfs around here?

Thanks, I bought the BRS screen kit after loosing 3 clown fish, and a yellow watchman goby who was one of my favoriteNice tank by the way. I love fire gobies but mine jumped

I have been to Fish Safari and Atlantic sea farms. I want to go to Reef Cheif but it is quit a drive. Especially if you are only down for the weekend.
Do you know of any other stores I could go to because I might be going down there for a weekend in February.
