Steve - Looks like by luck, my "nano prop system" turned into a 48x15x15 acrylic display and 48x15x15 glass sump! We're almost like brothers!

Looking super good man! I think naturally you'll end up with drip loops for all your wires so you won't miss the hooks! I get nervous with electrical stuff myself, would love to see more pics of how you ran the wires if you got them!

Had a GREAT day today. :wink:
I finished off the GFI Outlets, set the stand in place, set the tanks in place, hung the light, added some new plumbing, put sand in the fuge area and started filling with RO/DI water.
I added a second union in the plumbing to make maintenance easier and a check valve on the return line to prevent back-flow.
Nice to see it up and running again :wink:

I added some salt tonight and hope to get it cycling with some live rock this week.
Nice to see it up and running again! Looks like you did your own plumbing; did you drill the upper tank? what size overflow pipe did you use? Is there a way to do the overflow without having it rise so high out of the water? thanks

The tank was pre-drilled when I bought it. It has a 1 1/2" over-flow.
I could lower the over-flow, but I wanted to have a short splash zone (distance from the overflow wall to the water surface) to reduce any noise.
I am still playing with it, so it may get shorter :bigsmile:
Thanks for following along...... now it get's real boring for the next few weeks as the tank cycles.

I added some Start Smart to the tank last night.
[FONT="comic sans MS"]StartSmart instantly cycles aquariums and eliminates ammonia and nitrite. StartSmart does NOT remove chlorine or chloramine. Please use TLC Super Water Conditioner or a standard dechlorinator, then add StartSmart (4 oz per 50 gallons), aerate and then it is safe to add fish!
* TLC Saltwater Startsmart is extremely concentrated, and 100% live nitrifying bacteria.
* Stronger and more effective than the leading competition ... guaranteed!

I will add a frag or 2 and some Cheato to the tank and fuge tonight and watch to see how they do before moving all of my frags over.
I want to add a few fish to the tank and the fuge.
I was thinking about a sand shifter gobie in the fuge and a mandarin gobie and a couple of clowns in the tank.
But I am not set on these in any way. So let me here your suggestions.
