my 40 gallon zoanthid tank

Ummm awesome? YES!

my GOODNESS this tank is my dream tank right there. unbelievable how many colonies you have that just have that "perfect" round or ball shaped look to them. UGH its so so sicc!!! love the rainbows too, and thought i saw some nice deepwaters in there. keep up the amazin work

on a side note, and i really hope this is ok, after reading what your chopped-up RBTA did to many of your zoas, i commented on a fellow reef2reefer's thread regarding his tank going downhill and his many SPS and zoas either dying or not doing well at all. well, he had the same issue with an RBTA and i just quoted your line regarding that situation, and posted it in his thread to let him know that the RBTA getting into a powerhead could be a big reason that his tank went south.

hope its ok that i did that, and i just wanted to let you know. once again, AMAZING work on the tank. i am utterly speechless

oh MAN my fav babies: MAGICIANS! i have to just finally shut up and save a little money from my next check for a couple polyps and stop whining like a little baby that i don't have them!! they are truly perfect...

Tank

Can you tell us a little about your tank. Do you run a skimmer. Is there any fish at all what do you feed and how often. ect...

I only have one fish. A lawnmower blennie.
This tank is skimmerless at the moment, and I dose Reef Plus only about once a week, pour the juice from Rods Food in the tank about once a week and water changes every two weeks is all I do.
I may add a wrasse in the near future.

Said it before, say it again - very nice! Now, I have to go wipe my drool off the desk :still_dreaming:.

I attended a frag swap at the monthly PSAS meeting yesterday.
I picked up some really sweet pieces thanks to Todd at Cherry Corals.
These are a couple of them

Can you share more about the location lighting and flow to get those Spiderman zoos to look like that?

They are at the bottom of my tank.
The lighting in a 250 watt 20k Radium and 3x65 watt pc actinic.
Flow in the tank is 2x 6055 Tunze and a 6045, which were off when I took the picture.

you make me sick...i can only dream f a zoa garden that size.. very very awesome.

how much for a frag pack shipped to 19335? haha j/k
