Went and changed out 10g of water. I got my MR1 modified and running bio pellets, also added a bottle of two little fishes 9 to help the cycle. I also went to the LFS today and bought a chevron tang to replace my poor lost tang... Got a deal of a life time on it and love this LFS they are holding for me until I am able to take it home. got to get the QT tank going

well today was fun I went to fill the tank with top off I have my RO/DI pipe in the sump so turn it on a few and back off... well off being the part I forgot so overnight i dumped 30g of water somewhere in the house I hope into the drainage in the basement I can not find it anywhere else and the floor is not that wet. So after the salinity was about 1.000 and the fire shrimp did not make it but, the 2 cardinals did. it lower my nitrite and nitrate

and well its over with cleaned up best I could do. dumb me will be using a bucket for now on until i can use my ATO in the sump again ugh.

Got time to add some of my fish back a few corals and redo the temp sump

now all of the sudden today my nitrites 0 nitrates almost 0 ammonia .001 so I went and took hours but, all the fish and corals came out of the sump and into the tank. I will pic tomorrow as its a little cloudy. Now on to redo the sump

So on to the sump Ill save you from the horror that is the basement and the original set up. This time It will be neat and tidy. Starting with my 40b I need to clean tonight its empty and some of the glas was a bit to snug and broke while being lifted out of the basement. Now I need to come up with a new baffle design to incorporate into this. I want to build in a fuge and a separate area for rock. Any ideas welcome. I am going to use my Reef octo 150 sss on this though its big for my set up
