Twin weir and twin returns.

2 x ehime 3000 LPH return pumps

Well there has been quite a few changes I added another 14 kilo of live rock and an anenomie I know the system is still young but I'm always monitoring and watching and I have done plenty of reasearch around them and many have been fine when placed in early. I placed the anenomie in and it moved a few inches and made its home in a cave/bay it's well anchored to the rock and mouth is nice and tight. Before I bought it I made sure the foot , mouth and colour was all as it should be it has been feeding and my true percula clowns are now hosting it. It's been in the tank over a week now

A little bit of an update on the tank and the system.

I manage to break the 2 bubble magnus reactors don't ask haha so I ordered a new pair and are the newer design.

The system is still going through the motions and have a bit of cyno but that's bearable here is a few pictures excuse the hammer in pictures on right it was moody as lights on way down.

A bit of an update had a massive WS outbreak and lost the following fish and some pictures of them it came on fast and agressive

Powder blue tang
Regal tang
Yellow tang

1 x Blue cheek Goby
Both blennys

All remaining fish are now in QT and DT tank is fallow had to strip the tank to get the fish out here is how it the tank looked

I decided to give the tank a good change round and have re-scaped the tank here is how it looks now

Just a waiting game now but also gives me a chance to target feed corals and get them to grow on.

I see the offending crab I was after in a rock I moved fast and got it Looks a mean bugger hairy legs and that any one know what type it is.

I thought while I was there I would alter scape it's gone from this

To this the tree between will bush right out as above picture and corals a bit moody so bear that in mind.

Honest opinions welcome on which is better I will not be offended.

Sadly had to take my bubbletip anenomie out today the 7 shrimp I have in there would not leave it alone as there is no clowns hosting it now due to no fish in there.

My LFS are now looking after it for me when they order my stock in for me as I want another pair of true percula clowns they will put the anenomie in with them so they host it and ill then put them back in my system.

A little update using red sea coral pro for those who may be interested all my corals look much better and my hammer is now out as it should be here is a few pictures of the corals

My stats when using Neo marine and buffering a lot of MAG

Red sea coral pro with no buffering what so ever and last water change was a week ago

I'm impressed with the levels and how my corals are now looking very happy indeed I won't be changing back
