yup just face timed my wife to ask her to hold the phone up to the tank so I could watch check in on the new additions.... She was not impressed.... This brings me to my question what's the lowest you've gone to get your fix?

I do the same thing.. we have 2 boys and use Drop cam (NEST) for their rooms, just ordered a 3rd one to see the tank in hd anywhere in the world.

The sad thing as much as I love her .... I get so excited pulling into the driveway to see the tank... Last night I was walking out of the room and wished the fish goodnight like I would my kids.:.. Made me pause for a minute and think about it then decided it was appropriate

She gives me props for fluro, PE extension and happy fish. In a bad mood I try not to let her catch me fiddling near the tank during "kids bedtime", lol.

Water on the floor has always been an escalator and given the tank a bad rep. So I fixed that issue for the most part...

This is a hilarious thread. I'm new to reef aquaria, and, so far, fortunately, my wife is very supportive - just gave me the greenlight to buy an Apex last night! But, I suspect her support is more to get me out of her hair. Hopefully, her desire to keep me occupied lasts. I like this new-found support for my very expensive new habit.
