Update. I thought, since I have the second light-why not use it. Si I installed it and powered it down. Been a couple of weeks and everything seems to be happy in the tank.

Awesome idea, since you got it, disperse the light, cut down on shadowing, and helps with longevity not running the light at a high % intensity
