My battle against AEFW

Yes peroxide is an irritant (or a killer depending on dosage amount)
Its a cool thing to watch :-)
There is a simple way to verify this.
After a FW dip of an infected coral, I know its hard on the coral but at that point its already in trouble.
Suck up some of those bad boys into a white container or cup (small 2 cup volume)
Add 5 drops of peroxide and observe :-)
Its an oxidizer and since there is no exoskeleton starts to irritate their sensitive skin

Here is how you grow flatworm right now I have the common planaria growing thanks to an r2r member for shipping them to me!
They love dirty!! 1453565286280197283135.jpg

This right here is a fine plan.
I also would encourage dosing peroxide with this plan.
This would keep them on the move and starve :)

Todd, can you provide a Peroxide mix per gallon of tank water, I looked every where and can't find that link anywhere.

Never mind, to quick on jumping the gun.......... good thing they were blanks.
Need to start finish reading the threads before asking :p

What the front-door!!
That's a lot, I mean more than in the ocean.
You treat that with peroxide or FW exit?

Another Houston member needs to be tagged in this as he too is at war with the evil AEZW (Z stands for Zombies) @malira

Your linked thread states you've done no testing with peroxide and aefw. I wouldn't recommend anecdotal treatments when they've not even been tested.

I wrote that a while ago ;)

All I do is study flatworm its my future :-)

Test #1!!

I think freshwater dips would negate any test validity due to the stress imposed on the coral. Bayer works with very little stress.

Or does FW mean flatworm? Hrmmm

It was written by request on dec 30th
Testing started in October.

Never stated it was a solution to the problem in this thread.
I stated I recommend peroxide in conjunction with dipping :-)
So now go grab a cup put some in and see what happens ;)
