My clementines help

I had this problem, I only added enough peroxide until I saw the algae bubble. I left it for 5 minutes then dipped in coralrx. Keep in mind I did this to some high end frags and was nervous but I would do it again, it definitely saved them from full melt down.

+1 with peroxide dosing. On a side note, the barley additives and barley straw pads for ponds work the same way for algae. WHen breaking down, it gives off Hydrogen Peroxide.

+1 with peroxide dipping too. I have used this method and it work VERY well on Zoa's and even used it on some SPS that was covered in algee.. It worked better then I thought it would. Just soak the frag for 5-10 min and then try to pull off any algee that you can. It will look like some algee is still on the coral or rock, but that will blow off in a few hours once back in the main tank. I will be using H2O2 from now on to remove any algee on my corals no matter how much they are worth. I am not worried about it one bit at this point..

Thanks for the help guy but last night was a productive night :) I put the frags onto the sandbed & the hermits I think have taken away all algae :) so glad. I wonder if the seachem coral dip helped the day before
